Hey everybody. It's been several months, thought I'd give you a heads up about the band. We are currently finishing up the follow up to "Money Makes You Boring." We'll be releasing the first single from the record digitally within the next couple of months. The tentative title is "Headfull of Change."

In the meantime we are hitting the stage hard. If you're throwing a bitchin party in NYC we want to play it. If you live in a town where you think the vista should play-- hit us up at themontevista@gmail.com. We're hoping to hit the road by the fall.

And check us out at Don Pedro in Williamsburg this Thursday, April 5 at 9pm with our friend Ben Pegano. It's a free show.

Hey everybody. After an 8 month hibernation period recording our upcoming album, we're finally hitting the stage. Expect some new material and a new man on bass on Oct. 2 at Matchles in Williamsburg. Our new bassist Tom Cumming is a longtime friend of our drummer the amazing Dave "Mussels Marinara" and is a welcome addition to the family. We wish James Broughel all the best pursuing a career in the field of economics down in DC.

This site is gonna get a lot cooler soon and I'll be using this section to keep you posted about the record's impending release. We're currently looking for a label to put it out. If you are one or know somebody who runs one, give us a shout at themontevista@gmail.com

Hey everybody. The band has been in a bit of a hiatus this month (fuck, it's cold) but there will be cool stuff happening in February and beyond...

Actually things kick off this Sunday at 5:30 PM with our first official airplay on the Radio Crystal Blue program Novus Ordo. This program is syndicated in the UK, so it's pretty exciting. Check out the details on how to listen below.
